Every Evil Tongue Better Watchout!
Are you a Christian? Saved and born again? If so, then I know you are suffering trials, temptations, torments, and attacks.
In fact, Jesus says that you will be hated by people simply because you are a Christian (and this happens whether they know your faith or not). You will be persecuted for His namesake. Because you belong to Him and know and speak His word.
Jesus teaches: "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."
(John 15:19 King James Version).
Because you are a Christian, people you don't know AND people you know: friends, family members, co-workers are SUDDENLY being used by the enemy to mock, harass, tempt and torment you. Those gossipers, mockers, and people who are speaking lies and wickedness about you... It's evil and God hates such works. God has proclaimed that it's part of the inheritance of his servants to condemn their wicked tongues!
"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD." (Isaiah 54:17 King James Version).
"No weapon"? In Hebrew, weapon refers to any tool or utensil used against a person. A weapon is anything that could be used against you for evil intent.
If someone used his car against you, it shall not prosper.
If someone used her cell phone against you, it shall not prosper.
If someone used his checkbook against you, it shall not prosper.
If someone used their mouth to speak lies against you, it shall not prosper.
God has prepared a place of untouchability for his Born-Again, Redeemed Christian servants, and no one and nothing can destroy it. That's the meaning of the no weapon shall prosper statement.
Now about the tongues that rise against you in judgment... Keep in mind that no one is free of sin. Some sin different than others but before God we all do. We all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. That is why He had to send Jesus otherwise none could be saved. But if we confess our sins to Him, turn clear away from them, on purpose determine to live as Holy and blameless before Him, He says that He will cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. That is a gift of Salvation. Now if you knowingly continue in sin, then you are not truly saved.
Now,
The tongue is a small member of our body. It can bless or condemn. It can Bless or Damn. It can edify or destroy.
When evil people are spreading lies, attacks, harassment, and saying things to hurt you because they hate you (Jesus says it's because you are a Christian), you have the right to pray (out loud so the entire spiritual realm can hear it) for the renouncing (formally rejecting) of their lies, attacks, harassment and statements, and for the condemnation of their wicked tongue in according to Isaiah 54:17.
We see this clearly today with President Donald Trump. He is a born again, Child of God. Perhaps you think not, but he is and we are NOT to tell God that this man's salvation is not real.
Were we there? Are we better Christians? Do we see this mans heart? Well, when we see how he is doing the God Thing for America we know he is. Jesus said that we shall know them by their fruit. President Trump, has undoubtedly, the fruit of a Christian. Open your eyes honestly and see. Those who so viciously oppose him are clearly not of the Family of God.
Their vile attacks are so evil because he is a Christian man.
Today all his false accusers are being exposed and the lies and the evil-doings are going to be punished. And so it is happening for us all who, at a smaller level, been harassed and wronged Right now is NOT the time to use your tongue to harm anyone whom you know to be His.
If you ask God to back His word of promise to us on Isaiah 54:17, SOMETHING will be done spiritually by God Almighty. It is a sure promise to us who are washed by His Blood, that was shed for us. So whether it be the punishment of such people, or the removal of their ability to speak against you, or the destruction of their plots and attacks.... something is and will be done, and the payment for this is not a nice one.
The Lord also says that He will show Himself strong on our behalf and shine His light to uncover all the evil plans of these false accusers for all the world to see.
Start using what is your heritage and right in Him and pray that the Lord intervene against your enemies (who are also God's enemies).
He has proclaimed: VENGEANCE (destructive revenge) IS MINE.

3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according to as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

21 Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
These are His Words, His instructions for us all to live by and obey. Make sure you do for the days are short and the times are evil. And when He comes to judge us all, make sure you will be found faithful of His calling to us all who believe.
