Warning: Overheated Bearings!

In the world, we are living in today it seems that everyone is upset about something.

There seems to be a justification for being all heated up and responding to the unjust circumstances happening all around us with anger. There are fearful tidings of bad news coming from every side and it looks like the evil doers are winning. Nothing seems to be touching them and it looks like they are flourishing, basking in comfort and prosperity. And, as some of us are watching all this, we are becoming heated up, and fretful.

Will these evil doers ever get there just reward?

In the public light and in our sight some of these seem to be getting away with murder and we have had it. We are upset and really "pissed" and we have all the right be, and act so.

Well, my dear friends, nothing about evildoers acting's has changed much over the years. In biblical times the people of God faced many of these same issues. And the answer to how we deal and respond to these situations is still as wise today as it was then.

One of many bible examples is in Psalms 37 :1-6 NLT

1 Don’t worry about the wicked or envy those who do wrong. 2 For like grass, they soon fade away. Like spring flowers, they soon wither.

3 Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. 4 Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.

5 Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. 6 He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.

There is nothing new under the sun, so do not allow yourself to get all heated up and lose your cool. Your engine will get damaged. It will only stop you from moving forward. Even with just cause to get heated up, we cannot afford to do it. Perhaps you are going through a disappointment, some ingratitude, some unfaithfulness or some tragedy. God says to fret not. Fear not! Because it will hinder you from moving in the right direction.

The word fret is akin to friction and in a car when there is overheating of the bearings, it causes friction when not well lubricated. Generally speaking, a bearing is a device that is used to enable rotational or linear movement, while reducing friction and handling stress.

Aha, we need to, it is imperative for ourselves and our loved ones that we smoothly keep moving without any friction to heat our bearings and rust them and stop us.

We have to pray and trust that God who is a righteous judge, will deal with all injustice and evil eventually. And that, He will do.

So don't react all heated up, don't get all upset because it will ruin you. Pray, yes pray. Talk to God and really trust Him.

Do your best to not respond in anger to any unjust situation.

Breath and pause and trust God.

Keep all fear from producing friction in your life.

Do it on purpose and let the peace of God rule your life.

Believe it and receive it.
